Slightly less durable, however, the 5A Hard Maple offers a very characteristic, warm cymbal sound that only a maple stick can produce. With the Acorn Tip, the 5A Hard Maple is flexible for almost any style of music. Only heavy hitters might be better off going for a more robust type of wood.
