Remarkable and characteristic applies to both Christian Lillinger's musical work and his drumstick. Together with Christian, the Rohema team was able to develop a stick that exactly meets his wishes and requirements.

Christian Lillinger's fast, precise and articulate playing requires a drumstick that gives him all the freedom he needs. Christian's Plaist stick is based on a classic 7A model, but is considerably longer. This provides an enormous leverage effect that enables Christian to make whipping movements and generate a very pleasant rebound.

The shoulder is narrow and tapers very early. This was typical for sticks of the 1950s and 1960s. In comparison, the Acorntip seems unusually bulky, but it does give the Plaist Stick a bigger and broader punch.

Christian opted for a lightweight hickory grade to give the stick a certain lightness despite its length, which suits his fast, passionate and finger-driven drumming.
